This exquisite teacup, measuring 4.9 inches tall by 5.8 inches long, with a 400ml capacity (4.9 x 5.8 inches / 12.5 x 14.8 cm), is handcrafted to perfection. It features a built-in ceramic tea strainer, making it a practical and elegant choice for tea enthusiasts.
Ru Kiln ceramics are renowned for their unique glaze, infused with agate, giving the teacup a soft, translucent white color. This craftsmanship has been celebrated for centuries, earning the title of "Crown of Song Dynasty Ceramics."
Ice Crack Glaze Craftsmanship:
During the firing process, a unique interaction between the ceramic body and glaze creates natural cracks resembling shattered ice, known as "ice crack glaze." These cracks are not flaws but are covered with a thick layer of glaze, ensuring the durability and usability of the piece while adding an element of beauty. Each pattern is unique and unpredictable, making every piece one of a kind.

In Chinese tea culture, it's believed that over time, the tea set's ice crack glaze can develop unique colors. For example, regular use with green tea may gradually infuse the cracks with a golden hue, while black tea might give the cracks a rich, reddish-brown color.
